Travelodge Teddy Bear Toss
Bears were flying at the Barrie Molson Centre as Travelodge Hotels held their 7th Annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans were encouraged to purchase a mini sleepy bear for $5 and throw it on to the ice when the Colts scored their first goal to help raise funds for the Royal Victoria Hospital. The Colts were taking on the Sudbury Wolves in a heated match up when they scored their first goal at the ten minute mark of the first period and everyone had their chance to throw their Teddy Bears on to the ice. The closest bears to centre ice won great prizes from Travelodge which included gift certificates and free night stays. Once the bears were collected from the ice they were generously donated to the Barrie Fire Emergency Services. Travelodge would like to thank everyone for their support in raising over $1,000 for RVH!
