Heartburn Day Chili Cook-off
Guests took in the mouth watering aroma at the 55+ Centre for this hot n' spicy heart healthy event! In addition to the tasty features and prize draws there was lively entertainment provided by the Mariachi Fuego. The Chili Cook-off was held in support of Heart and Stroke month with the contenders including the Simcoe Community Centre, Summit Massage Therapy, MediChair, 55+ Centre and the Barrington Retirement Residence. This year's winners walked away with a $200 Walmart gift card and a basket of heart healthy "Blue Label" items, generously donated by Zehrs.
